This accessories brochure for IQOS was a beautifully crafted piece of brand communication that required a careful blend of meticulous artworking, high-end retouching, and pixel-perfect layout execution. With a premium lifestyle product at its core, every detail needed to reflect IQOS’s elevated design ethos — from the precision of the visuals to the clarity of the typography.
My role focused on executing the artwork and visual retouching to an exacting standard, ensuring that the full suite of accessories — from charging docks to protective sleeves and ring trims — were presented in the best possible light. Consistency across finishes, lighting tones, and product angles was key. Many of the product shots had been captured under different lighting setups and required advanced retouching techniques to unify materials, enhance texture contrast, and preserve colour accuracy across the range.
Typography played a central role in the design system, with strong, clear messaging reinforcing product benefits. It was essential that the typographic rhythm and balance were respected throughout the layout, working in harmony with the photography without ever overpowering it. Each headline, body copy block, and callout had to align with the IQOS global brand guidelines — meaning this wasn’t just design, but design under tight constraint and control.
Beyond the visual polish, this project is a great example of how high-quality artworking underpins good creative. Nothing was left to chance — from the alignment of tiny icons to the exact spacing of copy, it was all calibrated to feel effortless. Even the colour swatches and product descriptors needed to be visually integrated while maintaining legibility across multilingual versions.
Ultimately, the finished brochure acts as a seamless extension of IQOS’s global visual identity — clean, elevated, and aspirational. It reflects the design language of the brand, and more importantly, respects the craft that’s so vital to delivering that sense of trust and quality.
